Templates and presets

Curated templates

The template strip holds eight factory looks: classic white and dark gallery mats, vintage film frames, Polaroid-inspired cards, and minimalist borders. Every template is available on the free tier, with no watermark on any of them.

Applying a template replaces the current frame layout. Your photo, metadata edits, and canvas history stay untouched.

Save a custom preset

When a combination of borders, colors, background, and typography feels right, save it as a preset:

1. Adjust the controls until the frame looks right.
2. Open the presets menu from the studio toolbar.
3. Choose save and give it a name.

The free tier keeps one custom preset. Pro allows unlimited presets.

Update a preset in place

Changed your mind about a saved preset? Re-create the frame from the preset, make the adjustment, then choose update instead of save. The preset keeps its name and position and picks up the new settings.

Quick context actions

• Desktop: right-click any preset pill.
• Mobile: touch and hold any preset pill.

The context menu reveals update and delete without opening the presets dialog.

Applying and managing

Tap any pill to apply a preset to the current photo. Presets are stored on the device, so they work offline and travel with the app data. On the free tier, presets beyond the limit stay visible and usable in read-only form until you upgrade, so nothing already saved is lost.
