Acceptance of these terms

These terms apply to the Porder app (the “app”) and this website. By downloading, installing, or using them you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app and uninstall it.

The service

Porder is a photo framing studio for Android, Windows, and Linux. Core framing, editing, and export features work offline. An internet connection is only needed to validate or refresh a Pro entitlement and to send optional bug reports.

Accounts

No account is required. Your license and entitlement are tied to your store purchase or license key, not to a profile with us.

License grant

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you control, for your own purposes. This is a license, not a sale; we (or our licensors) retain all ownership of the app, its interface, templates, and branding. Open-source components are licensed under their respective open-source licenses.

Purchases, prices, and taxes

Pro is a one-time purchase with a $6.99 list price, offered at $3.99 in the United States and similar markets, from $1.99 in lower-income countries, and a special regional price in Vietnam. Store pricing varies by country, so the amount shown at checkout is authoritative. There is no subscription and no renewal.

Android purchases are made inside the app through Google Play Billing. Your purchase is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service; Google collects your payment details and applies its refund policy. We receive only the purchase token needed to validate your entitlement.

Windows and Linux licenses are sold through our storefront, where Lemon Squeezy acts as the merchant of record. Your contract of sale is with the merchant of record, which handles payment, sales tax, receipts, and refunds under its terms and privacy policy. Your license key is delivered by email.

Prices may change for future purchases; a price change does not affect Pro you already own. Local taxes are added where required and included by the store or merchant of record.

Pro entitlement

Pro removes the free tier’s export resolution cap and custom preset limit, and includes features we designate as Pro in each release.

• Your entitlement activates on the device or key you purchased with and works offline for the validity window of the cached token.
• On Android, use Restore purchases to recover Pro on a new device signed into the same Google account. On desktop, re-enter your license key.
• If a purchase is refunded, charged back, or found fraudulent, the entitlement may be revoked. License keys activated abusively or published publicly may be deactivated.
• If we ever change what Pro includes, existing purchasers keep at least the features they bought, as described in the release notes at the time of purchase.

The free tier’s current limits (exports up to a 2048px edge and one custom preset) are product features, not a trial, and may change in future versions; material changes will be described in release notes.

Your content

Your photos and their metadata remain yours. The app processes them on your device; we never receive them (except images you deliberately attach to a bug report). You confirm you have the rights to the images you process. You keep all rights to your exported files.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the app lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, resell or sublicense it, or misuse the entitlement system. Reverse engineering is permitted only to the extent applicable law allows it notwithstanding these terms.

Updates

The app may be updated through the channel you installed it from. Updates can change features, the free tier limits, or the look of the app. We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page with its revision date, and continued use after an update means you accept it. If you do not accept an update’s terms, stop using the app.

Termination

You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the app. We may terminate your license if you breach these terms; where your breach is not curable, your Pro entitlement may be revoked without refund. Sections about ownership, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive termination.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that exports will always preserve metadata exactly as recorded, that the app will be uninterrupted, or that it will suit every device.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Porder is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability arising from the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, or one US dollar if you have paid nothing.

Disputes and consumer rights

First contact us through the support address in the app’s About screen; most issues resolve directly. Disputes about purchases are also subject to the terms of the store you bought through: Google Play for Android, or the merchant of record for desktop licenses. Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, including rights that cannot be waived under local law.
